Something Rotten Jr.
May 27- June 15, 2025
Entering 6th grade to age 18
Fee: $650, $150 deposit
Travel back to the Renaissance for an hour of musical comedy gold in Something Rotten! JR. Adapted from the Broadway hit that Time Out New York hailed as “the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years,” Something Rotten! JR. celebrates one undeniable truth: “nothing’s as amazing as a musical!”
In the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as “The Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz.
Something Rotten! JR. features large song and dance numbers, and a wacky cast of over-the-top characters, each with their own moment to shine.

Join us for a summer camp to remember! The irrepressible comic strip heroine takes center stage in one of the world’s best-loved, award-winning musicals. Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Ages 5 to 9
Fee: $400, $150 deposit
For the first time, we're creating an opportunity for our younger students "aka, the Broadway Babies" to explore selected scenes, music and dance through the characters and songs you know and love from the beloved stage and film classic. Annie Kids Camp will focus on specially adapted material ideal for elementary age children who are just beginning to discover theatre.
Our director, choreographer and musical director will focus on process over product, encouraging creative risk taking. Participants will be encouraged to learn, grow, and have fun while building friendships and learning new aspects of theatre. Annie Kids Campers will perform their selections for friends and family on the mainstage Annie set at Rivertown Theater.

Broadway Baby Camp

Boys and Girls entering K-2nd
Register for one or both
Fee per session: $200 (Deposit $50)
These "mini-camps" for those entering Kindergarten through Second grade are perfect for students who want an introduction into the world of musical theatre and to learn what it takes to perform in a show. Campers will study age-appropriate music & choreography and WILL PERFORM THEIR NUMBER ON STAGE!
Each 1-week session will perform one production number in one of the older students' mainstage theater shows. Come for smiles, songs, dance, and a ton of fun! Students are welcome to attend both sessions and will learn a different production number in each session.
What makes our musical theater camp experience unique? Each and every participant is featured and receives individual attention during their 3 weeks with us. We divide each show into 2 casts, opening up more lead/supporting roles opportunities and featured time on stage for all performers.
Also, students perform on our mainstage, using the set, lights, mics, props, and effects from the adult production that just took place. During the rehearsal process, our students work closely with our team of professionals benefiting from one-on-one training. Students work on every aspect of the production, gaining on-stage performance skills as well as backstage knowledge. We empower our students to work as a team and assist each other during the production, whether it be with set changes, props, costume, make-up, etc.
Parents and students continue to rave about the production value and professional experience they gain attending our camps. Our focus is on developing the young performers' skills and love for theater, not just shuffling around a large group of kids on stage.
